Norum Foods is a young company doing one thing: taking European garlic and giving it the weeks it needs to turn dark, sweet and balsamic.
Why we started
Black garlic in northern Europe was either imported from a long way away or made in batches too small to sell. We thought a facility close to the fields, running slowly, could do better on both counts.
How we intend to grow
Chamber by chamber, against real orders. We would rather be sold out than sitting on stock that has lost its edge.
